One more transfer in Bolegnesi, a special family, and a day on the river!
Glynis here: We were able to chat with Jacob for a little while on Monday. He was excited that he gets to stay where he is, and with his companion. He feels that there is still so much they have to accomplish together. He has been thrilled the last couple of weeks, that President and Sister Parker have felt the need to have activities to unify the district. To that end, last week they were able to watch a movie together and this week they spent their P-day on the Ucayli river. Jacob continues to love the work, the people and his area. What more could I ask for. Oh, yeah, pictures! No pictures, again this week. He did promise to send pictures of the river adventure in next week's letter.
Hey everybody,
I don't have a ton of time today to write my email because we did a district activity in the morning which I'll talk about in just a second.
So, this week was really good for Elder Veach and me. We now have a family who has a baptismal date for March 7th!!! They are the family who came to church last week. I think I wrote about them. They are so nice! Every time we visit them the Spirit is just so strong, and they are really prepared. They loved the time at church and they told us they want to get baptized . They are also reading their Book of Mormon. Please keep them in your prayers so they can prepare themselves for that date. The are the family Hidalgo Acho: Melvin, Cledi, Cledi, Ana, and Gerald.
Today was transfers, but neither Elder Veach nor I are changing! Hooray! We are both going to be staying in Bolognesi! I love this area, everyday is such an adventure, just to get to our investigators homes we have to go through so much jungle.
Ok, last but not least, today we got permission from President Parker to go on a boat! We went on the Ucayali River, and on the other side of the river we held some sloths and a giant anaconda! It was so cool! Coming back on the boat, we saw a river dolphin jump in front of us. It was such a cool experience, but a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll let you guys see for yourselves. Speaking of pictures, neither Elder Veach nor I have a memory card to USB adapter with us right now, so I'll have to send the photos next week. Sorry, but that will give you all something to look forward to.
Well, I love you guys a lot!

Glynis again: Since Jacob didn't include any pictures this week, and since I'm getting better at technology, please enjoy this video Jacob sent us. He has been collecting coins from every region of Peru, and just recently his collection was completed. He, of course, had to film the occasion.
