General Conference, a return to music, and getting to see his "son" again!

Glynis here: I apologize for not getting this letter up sooner. It's my spring break, and I've been enjoying myself. We didn't get to talk to Jacob this week, but we did get to IM him from the office. He is keeping very busy, and loving what he is learning from President Li. His new P-day is on Saturday, so we are hoping to get a call from him tomorrow.
Hey guys!!!
I hope you enjoyed this General Conference. I absolutely adored it! I've realized that there are so many things about the Church that I totally took for granted before my missing. Things like General Conference, temples, quorums, and a whole lot of other stuff. Wasn't this General Conference awesome?!? I absolutely loved it. Every time the prophet spoke, I got chills, and felt so much love from my Heavenly Father! I hope you all loved it, and had the chance to watch it. We kind of lost a P-day watching it, but I was content with that. It was so good. I really loved President Nelson's talk in the Priesthood session. If you haven't seen it, go watch it! It made me want to be a better person and help those around me more. Let me know what your thoughts are on this Conference. I love hearing from you guys, and I'd love to see how you all liked it.
In other random news this week, we went out contacting with one other missionary from our zone. When we got to his house, we noticed he had a "charango" which is basically a Peruvian Ukulele... sort of. We noticed it in his house and we made the INSPIRED decisions to go out contacting with it. It was AMAZING! We contacted so, so, so many doors, and when they answered we sang to them songs like "I Am a Child of God" and so forth. It was awesome! There were a lot of people that seemed really interested. We contacted them and then set up appointments to go visit them. We give the evening a 10 out of 10!
Another thing that happened this week was that I got to see my "son," Elder Martinez, again! He came back to Iquitos just for a day to do a process in migrations (basically visa and passport and stuff), and as the personal secretary, that's my job! When he got here, he stayed with us in the house, and talked about all the converts, like the Lloja Ramirez family and some investigators we were teaching a few weeks ago. It was good to catch up with him.
that's about it for this week. I sure love you all! Thanks for the letters and messages!
Love,
Elder Neves
