Baptisms, transfers, and a change for Jacob.

Glynis here: This has been a HUGE week for Jacob! He turned 20 on November 8, and was given permission to call home. Our family was scattered throughout the state, but with the miracle of technology we were all able to join for a few minutes in a face-to face call with Jacob. He is the happiest that I have seen him in a long time, and that's saying something, since he has been extremely happy on his mission. However, this was the time that he could tell us about his transfer. He is now serving near Pucallpa in the Bolegnesi 2 area of the mission. Jacob is so excited to be out in the field, again! I can't wait to hear how it is going. His P-days are changing back to Monday, so we have to wait a while to hear from him! In the meantime, enjoy this week's letter.
Hey everyone!
This was a great week! We've been preparing Hermana Liz and Hermano Scott for their baptisms, and tonight (last Saturday) they'll be baptized. This morning we went to the church to get the font ready for tonight.
In other news, we were almost done with all the transfer changes; we had bought all the flights and we had organized everything when we got a call from President Parker. He said, "When was the last time you looked at the transfers?" We opened them up and to our surprise, he had changed almost all the zone leaders... SOOOOO, we had to change so many flights, and reorganize everything. But after all the chaos, it was awesome. It was obviously inspired by God and I think it will be good for the mission.
It was my birthday on Friday, so I guess I'm 20 now. Crazy! It was a good day. We kept on working like normal, but I called my family at night and was able to talk to them. It was so awesome, I love my family. (shoutout to you all!).
Also, in the office, Elder Jacobson, (the assistant) was given a task by the Parkers to make a seal for burning wood for Christmas presents they are going to give out. At first we didn't think Elder J was going to be able to do it, but he proved us all wrong, hard core! He bought a chunk of metal for 3 soles, and carved it with a Dremel until it was a picture of Christ. It is so cool. I'm including some pictures of that.
I love you guys a lot, and hope you are all loving life.
