Learning from President Parker, another successful transfer week, and getting ready for Leadership Conference
Glynis here: This week was harder than most, for me. This was the week that my extended family spent time together in Disneyland and Southern California. It was a really fun time, but I missed my boy tremendously. I missed seeing him with his cousins, and enjoying family time. On our way home yesterday, we received this letter, and a surprise phone call from him, and it reminded me that Jacob is where he is supposed to be and he is doing what he is supposed to be doing. He is enabling other sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father to have eternal families. How can I be sad when he is doing such good for others. I am so proud of him for his sacrifice, and his willingness to do this important work.

Hello family and friends!
Another transfer week down! If you remember, last transfer week was super stressful and long. This week was similar, but it felt a lot better. President Parker and Hermana Parker are just so nice and helping to everyone in the mission. With them is is easy to feel the Savior´s love.
Later in the week (really yesterday) we sent the suitcases for all the missionaries who had a transfer. In this mission, because you have to take a plane, you can only bring one suitcase with you when you have a transfer, so we have to send the second suitcase later. There were about 17 suitcases we had to send to different cities in the mission, so we asked a member from our ward who has a Motokar to take as many suitcases as he could to the airport. As we were loading it up, we realized maybe we could fit all of them in one Motokar, so… WE DID. I´ll include some pictures of that in there, it was pretty amazing!
We didn't get to proselyte a ton this week because President Parker wanted us to plan Leader´s counsel with him. That´s going to be next week and we had to get everything ready. Something I really like about President and Sister Parker is that every once in a while, they call us into their office to do a “Huddle” where we talk about the mission. They want to hear our ideas on how to improve the mission or deal with certain problems. It is a wonderful leadership style. He shows so much love for the missionaries and they are so funny together.
Anyway, that´s about it for this week. We have a baptism later tonight (Saturday). It's not one of our investigators, but another of the office companionships, so we are going to show our support.
I sure do love you guys, until next week!
