Glynis here: We just hung up after an internet call with Jacob. He is doing great! So happy! The office is busy with work for President Parker, so not a lot of proselyting going on. Jacob is looking forward to going out and knocking on doors some more. Here's his letter.

Hola family! I hate to disappoint you, but we didn't have a ton of crazy stuff happening this week. The most exciting thing we have done is to help President Parker and Hermana Parker adjust to the mission and helping them out with their responsibilities.

When he first got here, President Parker asked me if he could do a tour of the mission before changes... so, basically he wanted to take 4 trips to different cities all around the jungle, and of course they all have to be by plane because there´s no other way. It's been interesting trying to set it all up. He´s been having interviews with every missionary to see how they like the mission and what they would change. I really like him, he´s super funny. Sometimes when I call him I start to talk in Spanish, and he just takes a pause and says, "Can we just do this in English?" He´s super nice and today we are going to have a meeting with him as the office staff to explain to him how everything works.

We also had almost no time to proselyte this week, which was sad. This was because the transfers are such a crazy time for the office. Nevertheless, we did teach a new family we have found. They are named Pasteur and Giovanna. We found them while we were out contacting and she was super interested in the priesthood and how it works. We taught the restoration of the gospel and that the priesthood was restored to make it so families can be together forever. It was a really good lesson and they are excited. The only problem is he works in the military, so it´ll be hard to come to church, but we´ll see what we can do. Other than that, not a ton happened. I am happy, and somehow healthy. I hope you all are having a great summer. I love you all!
